The Kenwood is set in the middle of Sonoma Valley, 45 minutes north of San Francisco. The history of Sonoma is unique, with the amazing range of cultures that have come to make this their home over the last 250 years.  Benefittng from both a perfect climate and a ingrained need to find new frontiers, Chef Anthony Paone seamlessly blends history with modern technique to form a perfect union of texture and flavor.  Sourcing local ingredients, the kitchen works with whole animals and small gardens to define a constantly changing menu.


Few parts of the world offer such endless options as Sonoma for a chef.  With incredible ranges of soil, terrain and temperature, this region has quietly emerged as the destination for all things edible and drinkable.  From its coast to inland valleys, the pristine culinary resources available demand a constantly changing and evolving view on food and flavor.

The Kenwood menu blends these raw materials with influences from the many cultures that created Sonoma to forge a regional style of cooking we call Sonoma Cuisine. 

Dedicated to supporting small farmers, ethical production of food, and the art of cooking, everything from our sausage to pasta is made in house with the best ingredients that we can find.  Far from typical, this is a celebration of Sonoma County and the best it has to offer.

The Kenwood has a full bar and is family friendly, so bring your kids, your parents and dogs and enjoy the beautiful Sonoma Valley.  We encourage you to stay awhile and sit near the pond or play bocce.
